Role
Lead UX/UI Designer
Ice Dashboard (year implemented 2007) was a larger, highly complex UX/UI project, created with a very experienced team of programmers from the company. The solution was a large-scale business application designed to measure, process and regulate complex data in large enterprises. It enabled the efficient management of large volumes of data, automated processing and advanced visualisation of key metrics.
It was developed to support faster and more informed decision-making within companies, where data is crucial for day-to-day operational and strategic activities. The user interface allowed easy access to real-time data, customisation of the dashboard and monitoring of critical performance indicators (KPIs).
In collaboration with the client and stakeholders, we identified key business objectives and the information users need to make decisions. Based on these needs, we defined core functionalities such as automated data processing, dynamic visualisation and dashboard flexibility to track and regulate complex processes.
Using user research, we looked at workflows in large companies where data processing and analysis are key activities. This ensured that the information architecture allowed quick access to key data and easy navigation between different functions and visualisations tailored to the specific needs of individual users.
We created a series of wireframes showing different layouts of complex data and interactive dashboard elements. Through a multi-step prototyping process, we tested the user experience and functionalities, allowing us to gather feedback and make ongoing adjustments.
We have focused on presenting large amounts of data in a simple and transparent way. We used clean lines, a modular structure and flexible visualisation to allow users to quickly interpret and analyse key data. The colour scheme and graphical elements were designed to make it easier to identify critical data and alerts.
